AutoNation USA arrives on Atlantic Boulevard | Jax Daily Record | Jacksonville Daily Record

The Atlantic Boulevard auto dealership row adds an AutoNation USA dealership on 6.88 acres in the North Atlantic.

The wooded site is next to the Audi Jacksonville dealership at 11401 Atlantic Blvd.

The city is reviewing civil engineering plans and has issued a mobility fee calculation and concurrency reservation certificates for the proposed 19,884 square foot concessionaire on land owned by Sleiman Enterprises.

Plans say it will sell used cars.

The city calculated a mobility fee of $110,387 for the project to mitigate the impact on traffic.

Atlantic North is northwest of Kernan and Atlantic Boulevards.

AutoNation, through Jacksonville ANUSA LLC of Fort Lauderdale, is the developer. Foresite Group LLC of Tampa is the civil engineer.

Atlantic Boulevard sports approximately 20 open or planned concessions from Regency Square Mall to Monument Road east of Kernan Boulevard.

Another automotive sales and service center is planned near the AutoNation site.

A Tesla sales center developer submitted plans to the city on Jan. 14 for an electric vehicle center in the North Atlantic.

A permit application with the city confirms that electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc. is planning a sales, delivery and service center in the Atlantic North.

The proposed $6.3 million “Tesla Service Center” is described as a 45,505 square foot building located at 11585 Atlantic Blvd.
