At the Second Fleet Forward: The Tour stopover in Chicago on June 16Participating fleet managers will have the opportunity to exchange one-on-one feedback with subject matter experts on their fleet electrification questions.
During the one-hour session of EV Solutions Roundtables, attendees will have the opportunity to attend three tables for 20 minutes each. The main conclusions will be presented during lunch.
Table topics include (subject to change):
- Troubleshoot infrastructure implementation issues.
- Smart charging to minimize your electricity bill.
- Which electric vehicles are right for me (pass cars)?
- Which electric vehicles are right for me (commercial)?
- Funding, funding, funding.
- Understand the total cost of ownership of electric vehicles.
- How to rent an electric vehicle.
- Three first steps to electrify your fleet.
In addition to the round tables, the program also includes seminars from Jason Kazmar of Element, Dave Schaller of NACFE and Ryan Pritchard of Pritchard EV as well as Fleet Forward editor Chris Brown. During lunch and networking breaks, attendees can interact with tabletop exhibits.
The day ends with a two-hour drive. Automakers participating in the Chicago event include BMW, Volvo, Nissan and Polestar, as well as commercial electric vehicle makers Cenntro, Lightning eMotors and ELMS. More car manufacturers and vehicles will be added and announced soon.

An offshoot of the Fleet Forward Conference, Fleet Forward: The Tour consists of one-day regional events where fleet operators can drive electric vehicles and experience other new technologies behind the wheel. The Tour is free for qualified fleet managers.
Signing up for the Chicago stop is Open now. The Chicago tour stop will be at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center in Oak Brook, Illinois.
After Chicago, the tour will stop in Dallas on September 15. The Fleet Forward Conference will be held in Santa Clara from November 9-11.
