Motorcyclist charged after being caught driving unreturned rental car, police say – Chicago Tribune

POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE

Andrew Crump, 62, of Wheeling, was charged with criminal possession of a stolen vehicle on August 24. Police received a report from the Northbrook Police Department that a stolen vehicle was driving in the area. Deerfield police located the vehicle Crump was driving, stopping it near Cook Lake and Wilmot Roads. Police learned that the vehicle was a rental, that it was not returned when due, and that the rental company was willing to sign a complaint. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on September 14 in Waukegan.

DUI

Charles E. Miller, 69, of Bannockburn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawfully transporting alcohol, improper use of lanes and failing to signal when required on August 28. Police arrested Miller near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Greenwood Avenue. after observing it do not signal and drive between lanes. He failed a field sobriety test and refused to take a breath test. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on September 21 in Waukegan.

INVALID LICENSE

Luis E. Sotamba-Gordillo, 38, of Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding on September 2. in a school zone at 20 mph. A check revealed that his license was suspended. He was released on bail.

Reece Lazeretti Waldron, 18, of Deerfield, was charged with driving with a suspended license on August 21. She was arrested after police investigated and learned of a traffic accident near the intersection of Hazel Avenue and Stratford Road in which she was involved. the license was suspended. She was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 4 in Park City.

Daniel Fernando Rosales, 20, of Zion, was charged with driving while his license was suspended, driving without a valid license plate, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of cannabis on Aug. 22. Police stopped Rosales near the intersection of Deerfield and Warrington Roads after observing license plates with an expired tag. A check revealed that his license was suspended. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on September 20 in Park City.

Yessenia Faudoa, 22, of Mundelein, was charged with driving with a suspended licence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding on August 23. area. A check showed that his license was suspended. She was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 4 in Park City.

INVALID LICENSE

Chantel A. Cherry, 22, of the 4200 block of White Pine Lane in Zion, was charged with driving with a revoked license and driving with an expired registration, and apprehended on a warrant issued in Lake County. She was arrested near the intersection of Deerfield Road and Milwaukee Avenue. She was released on bail for the traffic violations and is due in Lake County Court on October 5 in Mundelein.
