Ferrari also offers independent front and rear suspensions., 245 / 35ZR20 front tires, 305 / 30ZR20 rear performance tires, 20 inch alloy rims and power steering. In addition, the car is a rear-wheel drive transmission with stability control, a start button, traction control and a paddle shift. The 488 GTB comes with a curb weight of 3,362 lbs, cargo capacity of 230 liters, height of 1,213mm, length of 4,568mm, width of 1,952mm and wheelbase of 2,651mm .


The development of the subsystem and electronic control mainly focuses on maximum throttle responsiveness and full control, with a response time of 0.06 seconds. Variable torque management delivers the increasing amount of torque through the gears. Thanks to these solutions, the 488 GTB offers track-type shifting. The evolved version of Ferrari’s lateral slip control system, the SSC2, is more precise but less invasive. The SCM3 magnetorheological damping system has a faster ECU for changing the magnetic field of the dampers, as well as three new sensors on the body.

The Ferrari Designing Center designed the 488 GTB. It has very sculptural sides. The characteristic large air intake festoon is divided into two sections by a divider: the double grille opening to the front air channel in the two radiators. The double front spoiler looks a lot like those of F1 cars. Two pylons are combined with a deflector to channel air to the flat base in the center. The hood has a raised central section and two side channels. These channels have the function of channeling air from the bumper, which has been cleverly hidden from view to keep the lines clean.


The tail was dominated by the blown spoiler and large air vents to help improve the car’s aerodynamics. The tailpipes have been repositioned to accommodate the greater height required for the diffuser. Rosso Corsa Metallizzato, a new color, has been developed to underline the extremely sporty character of this model.

The Ferrari 488 GTB comes with heated and power adjustable exterior mirrors and sport leather bucket front seats. With performance four-wheel disc antilock brakes, driver and passenger side front airbags, side curtain airbags and front side airbags, driver and passenger safety is top priority.

The 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB is more fuel efficient than its predecessors. While the previous generation Ferrari 458 was rated at 21.2 MPG combined, the 2015 488 GTB has an impressive 24.3 MPG combined. The price was not announced until the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. Even UK prices weren’t confirmed until later in the year when the exact standard specs were finalized. The price was expected to be around $ 230,000, and even more if additional features need to be added. Reservations began after the car was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
