OZARK, Ala. (WTVY) – Two women ended up behind bars after one of them tried to hit an officer with their vehicle, police say.

According to Ozark Police, on August 25 at around 2 a.m., T’Kia and Chazlin Williams were pulled over for a traffic violation.

T’Kia Williams was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. Nearly two hours later, Williams was released from Dale County Jail.

Chazlin Williams and T’Kia approached an officer who pulled them over and nearly hit him with their high-speed vehicle, police say.

Officers say the two got out of their vehicle and started hitting the patrol vehicle. The two suspects fled the scene after this encounter with officers.
